Dianne Hyson, Ph.D., R.D., Chief Nutrition Officer

Dr. Dianne Hyson chairs the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences/Dietetics at California State University, Sacramento.
Dr. Hyson also holds an adjunct clinical faculty appointment in Internal Medicine at the University of California, Davis. Her many professional associations and activities include service as President of the Northern Area Dietetic Association of California; associate editor and peer reviewer for "Preventive Cardiology", and consultant for the Produce for Better Health Foundation.
Dr. Hyson completed a doctoral degree in nutrition from UC Davis, a Master's degree in Experimental Medicine from the University of Alberta and is a registered dietitian.
